Nerdbox can play 4 player NES and SNES games, if you happen to have 4 controllers configured on your device. You can use the controller configuration instructions to add more controllers, if you are not using 4 of the controllers that ship with Nerdbox. Technically, some of these games can be played with 5 or even 6 players, but in order to do that, you would need to use a powered USB hub, and I have not tried this. It should still work the same however!
NES games will be supported without any work. Get 4 controllers connected, and all NES Multi-Tap (aka 4 player) games will work.
SNES games require a little setup. You will need to do this setup once per game. I
suggest doing it before your other friends show up, so you can get right to playing when
they do!
• Find then start the SNES game that you wish to play using multi-tap
• Press Select+X to access the configuration Menu
• Go to Quick Menu \ Controls
• Change "User 2 Device Type" to Multitap
• Press B to go back
• Select "Save Game Override File"
This should allow you to play a game with up to 4 players!
